Magic Beyond Words: The J.K. Rowling Story

Before she was a household name, author J.K. Rowling experienced a personal journey worthy of one of her books. Growing up in working class England, Rowling dreamed of becoming a writer but struggled with the harsh reality of finding a career that would keep her out of poverty. Despite constant obstacles, including her mother’s early death and a destructive marriage, Rowling never gave up hope of achieving her dream. Instead, she used her past experiences, both good and bad, as inspiration for a magical tale of a young orphan on his way to wizard school.
